2020 is not a year for Scouting as we know & love it.  We continue to follow Scout Association advice (in conjunction with National Youth Agency and Government guidelines) and meetings are running online, with some restricted face to face meetings permitted from September, with social distancing and additional hygiene measures in place.

We continue to offer online meetings via Zoom to keep our Beavers, Cubs & Scouts occupied.  Remember, our leaders are all volunteers with their own families and jobs to manage, just the same as everyone else.

Check out the links on our page The Great Indoors for inspiration.

In the meantime, please stay safe & well!

Who we are

We are Ashby Hastings Scout group, based in Ashby de la Zouch in NW Leicestershire.

We change lives by offering 6- to 14-year-olds fun and challenging activities, unique experiences, everyday adventure and skills for life.

Scouts helps children and young adults reach their full potential. We help young people to get jobs, save lives and even change the world.

Over very many years, we’ve provided hundreds – probably thousands – of young people in & around Ashby with some amazing adventures and experiences, all in the name of Scouting.

Put your phone down and what are you left with?

Just teamwork, courage and the skills to succeed.
